Parking:  Convention Center Parking Garage: 10-story building has 1,000-spaces, located 2 blocks west of the Center, at 201 East 2nd Street. Entrances are on Brazos and San Jacinto streets. An additional 600 Parking spaces are available at the garage at Red River and 5th Street.

Help Us Minimize Event Waste!
Do Your Part. 
Visit the Recycling Stations throughout the show to Recycle and Compost all your concessions and food sampling waste.

Show Technology has commissioned Uplift Austin to manage complete Waste Diversion Efforts throughout Expo, including staffing Recycling Stations in Expo Hall.  Additionally, American Youthworks has been commissioned to manage Exhibitor Waste Diversion Efforts during move-in/out times.
Other Community Action Opportunities:

Plastic Bag recycling provided by Cycled Plastics: Bring your grocery, dry cleaning, bread, produce and newspaper bags to recycle in the Cycled Plastics bins at show entrance. Bags should be free of debris, labels, stickers, and twist ties.

Recycle your RECHARGEABLE Household batteries in the recycling bins provided by Call2Recycle

Our Other Green Efforts:

Making the Austin Green Living Expo as Eco-Friendly as possible is important to us.  Here are some of the other greening efforts we have made for this event.

  • Electronic communications with Exhibitors including Exhibitor kits saving an estimated 10,000 sheets of paper.
  • Promotion of green tips and practices to exhibitors including a schedule move-in to reduce idle time.
  • Expo Show Guide printed on post-consumer recycled paper with soy ink.
  • Giveaway of reusable tote bags at show entrance.
  • Monitoring of Center’s HVAC systems to maintain energy-savings.
