Louis Petrozza lV, born in Brooklyn N.C. in 1960 to Rosemary and Louis III . He moved to Long Island with his 2 sisters, Joyce and Lori, when he was 9 years old. Louis IV was always around great food & family. He recalls needing naps between huge courses of food at grandma's house, especially on holidays.

He  began working in restaurants at age 17 years old. He attended "Culinary Institute of America" in Hyde Park  N.Y. and graduated in 1983. Chef Lou  continued to work in fine dining establishments on Long Island.

At age 28 years old, he moved south to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Chef Lou operated a restaurant, three successful Deli's and a high end catering business.

After 18 years on the beach, traded the surf side life style for the city life of Charlotte, N.C. While working as a catering director in Charlotte, N.C., took a shot at the small screen and bright lights of Hollywood on a reality cooking show, " Hells kitchen" with foul mouthed, Very talented, short tempered Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsey. Chef Petrozza placed 1st runner up by the decision of Chef Ramsey.( the judge, jury & executioner).

Chef Petrozza, at present, resides in the wonderful city of Charlotte, N.C. and a  works full time job with the great Aramark Food Service Corporation at beautiful Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. with the greatest, most talented bunch of people Chef Lou has had the pleasure of working with.

Chef Lou Petrozza still pushes ahead toward the bright future that belongs to all Americans who chooses the challenging journey of the less traveled but most rewarding high road.
